Gulab Jamun Recipe Today we are going to make such a dish which is liked by everyone. Its name is Gulab Jamun. This sweet dish is everyone's favorite dish.
You can make it very easily whenever you want. You will need very few ingredients to make it. But despite having few ingredients, it tastes very good.
It is often made on any special occasion, in marriage or in festivals. But if you feel like eating something sweet, you can make it anytime at your home.
This is a favorite dish of adults as well as children. So let's see the easy recipe of Gulab Jamun which is liked by everyone.
Important Ingredients Mawa 500 gram Sugar 750 gram Wheat flour 100 gram Cardamom powder ½ tsp Milk ¼ cup Baking soda 1 pinch Ghee to fry gulab jamun
1. To make Gulab Jamun, first grate the mawa 3 to 4 times with the help of a grater.
2. Then put this mawa in a big plate and add flour, cardamom powder, sweet soda and milk to it and mix it well to make it soft and smooth like dough.
3. Now prepare small round balls from this mixture. Now put sugar and 1 to 1½ glasses of water in a pan and keep it on the gas. Keep stirring it continuously with a ladle.
4. After the sugar melts completely, let it cook for another 5 minutes and then turn off the gas. Gulab jamun syrup is ready. (Gulab jamun syrup should not be very thick.)
5. Now put ghee in a pan and keep it heating on the gas. Medium hot ghee is required for frying Gulab Jamun. When the ghee becomes medium hot, then put the round balls of the prepared mawa in it.
6. Keep stirring it pouring hot ghee from the top with a ladle. When the nuts turn brown, then stir them lightly and fry them. Fry the Gulab Jamuns till they turn brown from all the sides.
7. Then take them out in a plate and put them in sugar syrup. Similarly, fry all the nuts and put them in sugar syrup.
8. In 1 to 2 hours, the gulab jamuns will become juicy and sweet after soaking in the sugar syrup. Delicious Gulab Jamun is ready.
